Charming set of 3 vintage hand painted clay figurines featuring a farmer and two sheep

This lovely trio of figurines has been made of a lightweight red terracotta type clay and they have been hand painted and glazed. Their age and manufacturer are not known but they were originally stuck onto a rough wooden base with straw attached, however this was too grubby to save and the figurines were removed and saved on their own.

The figurines are hollow and quite lovely to handle. The sheep are depicted as little fat fluff balls and the farmer has a similar simplistic and rotund shape.

The farmer stands approximately 17.5cm tall and is approximately 9cm across the widest point. The sheep are approximately 5cm tall and 6cm wide.
